Kingsland WWTP Expansion

Kingsland, Georgia

Construction of a new influent channel in existing RBC structure and installation of mechanical and manual barscreens. Construction of top slab with hatches and supports for wet well mounted pumps to convert existing clarifier to a new influent pump station. Construction of new Sequence Batch Reactor (SBR) including SBR chambers, aerobic digester, chlorine contact chamber, reaeration chamber, effluent flume and all appurtenances, yard piping and pipe connections to new and existing facilities. Construction of new effluent wet well and installation of outfall pumps as well as effluent piping and manholes from new SBR discharge. Construction of new 2,000 sq. ft. operations building and 2,400 sq. ft. parts building with raised loading dock including construction and paving of access roads.

Pocotaligo WWTP Upgrade and Expansion

Sumter, South Carolina

Upgrade of existing wastewater treatment plant from 15 MGD to 24 MGD through the addition of one bar screen, upgrade to influent pump station, new grit removal, addition of blowers and diffused aeration basin, modification of existing basin to diffused aeration; addition of two 90-degree clarifiers and sludge return pumps and buildings; expansion of disinfection chamber, chlorine and SO2 systems; addition of effluent wetwell and plant pumping systems, new aeration system in existing sludge holding tanks, addition of three sludge belt presses, new polymer feed system, modification to existing sludge conveyor, new maintenance building, modifications to existing lab building, improvements to existing discharge ditch, new SCADA system.
