Design, Installation and Commissioning to relocate approximately 5,300 linear feet of 48-inch water main pipeline from out of the GA 400 Right of Way to along the west side of Old Alabama Road from the Chattahoochee River, to the intersection of Market Boulevard and Raintree Drive.
Features of the project include:

- Tunneling under 10’ square storm culvert remaining in service

- New pipe hydrostatic testing, disinfection, and commissioning
- 48” Flow through linestop bypass and tie-in while forcemain service remains continuous
- Abandonment of approximately 5000 LF of existing 48” water line with cellular grout
The project experienced significant excessive rain, conflict with unmarked utilities, failure in the existing forcemain and contaminated soils that increased the overall schedule. The project finished under the Owner’s budgeted cost.
