Highway 41 Watermain Tunnel

The project in Cobb County, Georgia included the installation of approximately 10,000 lineal feet 36-inch, 42-inch, 48-inch, and 54-inch of ductile iron pipe water transmission and approximately 6,000 lineal feet of 16-inch ductile iron pipe water distribution main. This pipe was mainly open cut, but also includes jack and bore and hand mining. Work was done in the Highway 41 right of way and required extensive traffic control and coordination with GDOT. This project was completed in April 2017.
