Hartsfield Jackson Manifold Improvements

This project in Atlanta, Georgia primarily involved replacing the discharge manifold piping, valves, and fittings, as well as other piping, valves, and fittings at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Pump Station. The work includes site investigation and mitigation, demolition of existing ductile iron pipe, fittings, and valves, installation of new flow meters, construction of reinforced concrete foundation slabs, structural and architectural modifications to the existing pump station building to facilitate the new above grade piping, temporary bypass piping, dewatering, electrical and controls, storm drainage, green infrastructure such as a rain garden or bio-swale, new ornamental fencing, erosion and sediment control. The project is utilizing the Design-Build (D-B) delivery method. Work was completed in June 2019.
