This project included the construction of a new membrane bioreactor plant inside the original footprint of the existing plant, including a new primary screen, influent pump station, MBR system (concrete tankage & mechanical equipment), secondary screen and odor control system, chemical feed system, administrative/ lab building, as well as all associated sitework, pipe, fittings, valves, electrical process equipment, & SCADA System. Work was completed in July 2015.
Phase two of this WWTP project includes construction of a headworks facility, including associated screening and odor control, anoxic/pre-aeration and membrane bioreactor basins including diffused aerations system, blowers, and recycle pumps/wet well. Work also includes membrane bioreactor (MBR) basins and covered equipment area, a two-story building, monorail beam and hoist system for MBR filters, odor control facility for the plants, screening’s dumpster and slab for secondary screening, MBR filter wash pad on grade, primary screening, associated process and non-process yard and plant piping, associated site pavement, grading, and SCADA interface. Additionally, work involves associated electrical equipment and work, associated grounding and lighting protection systems, site and facility lighting, demolition of portions of the existing plant, landscape buffer/plants MBR membranes, equipment, and related pumping and related piping, piles and other structural supports, UV disinfection system, sludge dewatering system, effluent pumping and flow monitoring.
