Farm Creek and Fondulac Dam Repairs

This project in East Peoria, IL consisted of lining an existing 60in RCP storm line for the US Army Corps of Engineers running through the Fondulac Dam located on tributary streams to the Illinois Waterway providing flood control for East Peoria, Illinois. Ruby-Collins was subcontracted to install 380LF of 54in diameter Sekisui spiral wound PVC through the existing line to provide new life to this aging infrastructure. Challenges of this project included rainstorms causing the pipe to flood while working and having to remove concrete previously poured throughout the length of the line on the bottom of the pipe.
