This project in Atlanta, Georgia involved removal and replacement of 1,300 feet of 30” Hobas gravity outfall sewer that is parallel to a tributary to Proctor Creek, running adjacent to the new Bellwood Quarry Reservoir. The new 30” Hobas was installed via open-cut, through rock. The project also involved exposing and raising existing sanitary sewer manholes to grade and rehabilitating or replacing existing sanitary sewer manholes. Access was limited, and road building had to be completed to allow the work to move forward. Major by-pass pumping was also required. This project was completed in November 2019.
