Our company specializes in the construction of Water and Wastewater Treatment Facilities, Infrastructure work (i.e. Gravity Pipe, Force Main, and Storm Water), Pump Stations, Tunnels, and Trenchless Projects. This position will be Proposal Manager for all Ruby-Collins pursuits. This position will develop and coordinate proposals and qualification packages for multiple opportunities, edit technical sections, provide creative layouts, and organize substantial amounts of information for the pursuit team. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented individual, with a background in marketing, specifically within the A/E/C industry —a team player who can lead pursuits, communicate effectively, manage multiple concurrent initiatives, and thrive in a deadline driven environment.

Core responsibilities in this role will be to:

Manage the end-to-end proposal/interview process from initial planning through delivery for all aspects related to the proposal process including proposal storyboarding, outline, schedules, and workflow.
Develop proposal messaging, write original content, collaborate with marketing manager to follow brand guidelines, including layout and other graphic elements
Work with technical staff to develop strategic win themes.
Work with technical staff to develop consistent content to carry over from statement of qualifications, proposals, and interview presentations.
Develop and manage proposal schedules and confirm compliance.

Basic Requirements:

Lead and guide the technical staff to develop proposals.
Read, analyze, and understand RFQ, RFPs, and RFIs.
Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written/editing skills
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign)
Proficient user of Microsoft Office, to include Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
3-5 years of experience
Ability to independently define, schedule, and manage the proposal preparation process, including the ability to understand and analyze RFQ/RFP requirements
Exceptional organizational skills: ability to meet deadlines by prioritizing and managing simultaneous projects with competing demands
Previous experience in proposal preparation or large-document management
Accuracy and efficiency in incorporating red-line edits.
Continuously coordinate, update, and mechanize proposal content to reflect ongoing product enhancements
Coordinate with external teaming partners

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in English, Marketing, Communications or a related field required,
3 to 5 years of relevant A/E/C proposal experience is preferred
Experience in proposal preparation is required.
A/E/C industry experience preferred
Project management, collaboration, and team-building skills
Proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office
Written and verbal communication skills
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables
Ability to understand and correctly follow a variety of instructions
