Proposal Manager

Job Overview
We are looking for a strategic Proposals Manager to lead our work acquisition efforts and shape the next chapter of our growth.
This is more than a writing role. As a critical leader within our Business Development and Marketing team, you will be the “strategic storyteller” behind our most complex pursuits, including Design-Build and CMAR projects.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead Pursuits: Manage the full proposal lifecycle—from kickoff and capture planning to final submission and award.
- Create Compelling Content: Write and edit persuasive, client-focused narratives for proposals, SOQs, and award submissions.
- Interview Coaching: Lead shortlist presentation development and coach teams for high-stakes client interviews.
- Brand Management: Design and update proposal and interview templates, infographics and other visual communication within brand standards.
- Data & Compliance: Maintain Unanet CRM records, project resumes, and proposal libraries to ensure quality and compliance.
- Strategic Support: Assist in shaping overall internal and external marketing strategy.
Qualifications & Requirements
- AEC Expertise: 5+ years of marketing experience within Architecture, Engineering, or Construction.
- Pursuit Mastery: 2+ years focused on pursuit strategy (Water/Wastewater market experience is a major plus).
- The Toolkit: Expert-level proficiency in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Leadership Presence: The ability to command a room, manage executive-level stakeholders, and thrive under hard deadlines.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
